  1. Position your feet on the edge of a platform with only the front halves of your feet touching the platform. Your heels should be extended from the edge of the platform.
  2. If you’re doing these on a machine, place your upper body into the machine and extend your legs.
  3. Breathe in and drive your heels downwards as deep as you can for 2-4 seconds to get a stretch in your calves.
  4. Pause at your deepest point.
  5. Breathe out and drive your heels upwards until your feet are parallel with the floor.
